I wish Plum Good Food would have delivered to Spring Hill when the boys were frequent inpatients at Vandy!
Even now, when we have lots to do, especially on the delivery day
(every Tuesday) it is so great to come home & have had my grocery
shopping done, derived & kept refrigerated & frozen until I get
around to putting it away. I have actual saved money & obviously
time,with this service. I knew it would be nice, but didn't realize
how wonderful, until I started using it.
You order online at www.plumgoodfood.com & can change your order up until midnight the night before delivery. I save money because I only get what I really need, I can easily check my pantry to see what is needed & I have eliminated impulse buying. The the night before delivery I look at my list & go over each item & ask myself if we really need it, I wind up removing a few or more things from my list. This past delivery they added 2 boxes of cereal & a loaf of bread "just because" with no charge.
Whenever I would take one of the boys home from an admission, I'd almost always have to stop off at Wild Oats, so we'd have food for a few days. This saves me at least 2 hours a week (travel & shopping time) & hassle - taking the kids & shopping, traffic, and money on gas, & extra things I used to buy, plus when we're in cool springs the kids would always want to go somewhere else.
