Update April - May, 2008
Hi :-)
Joshua had surgery (hemi-pelvectomy) Tuesday, April 15th, at 8:00 AM
(leg amputated from the pelvis down - hemi-pelvectomy)
http://www.hphdhelp.org/default.htm We are so grateful for all who the wonderful support that day :-)
We were able to go home the following Wednesday, each day there is more progress -we are also working on pain control, please send loving thoughts, prayers and decrees pain-free and happy days
He has healed well since the operation and with medication and therapies, is mostly pain-free, , he now has more mobility :-)
Now we will focus on his lungs :-)
We have been working with a nurse from Odyssey Health Care for the last month or so, and did the surgery so he can function better, to relieve pain, give him more independence, and ability to be more mobile. Now we can focus on the rest of his healing, since he is now with me most of the time, and I can make sure he gets what he needs on a consistent basis.
The prayers, thoughts and decrees for perfect health, happiness, joy and peace are enfolding him and us - thank you so much. The precious souls who have donated to Joshua have also made many things possible for his healing, and he will continue to benefit by them.
We think about everyone assisting us, every day and are so grateful for you all!!! It means so much! We'll keep doing all that is required on this path of healing!
We're going in the right direction & everyone's love, concern and thoughtfulness are greatly assisting in that!
We are having wrist bands made, to create more awareness about Joshua, so people can think of and keep him close to their hearts & send their love his way :-)
